Super Legends of Heroes Advance Evolution DS

Im a huge fan of good gaming subtitles, as in the few words that comes after the gaming title. For example: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Now I dunno if its really called a subtitle as it is part of an official game title but sometimes such subtitles sets the game apart from other games in the same series, even if its just a sequel or just little enhancements added to the game (like the game Bloody Roar 3 originally made for the PS2 was enhancely ported to the GameCube as Bloody Roar: Primal Fury.

Here are some of my favourites:

Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies

Banjo
Tooie
Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Dragon Ball Z Sparking! METEOR
Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Metroid Prime 2: (Dark) Echoes

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams

Panzer Dragon
Orta
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

Tales of (Innocence, Vesperia, Symphonia, Rebirth, the Tempest)

Xenosaga
(Der Wille zur Macht, Jenseits von Gut und Bös, and; Also sprach Zarathustra)

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner

The sad thing is, a lot of games just use the subtitles Heroes, Adventure, Legend/s and Chronicles or after the console... lazy ppl

Advanced Guardian Heroes

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

Mario Kart DS/Wii

Medal of Honor: Heroes

Sonic Adventure/Heroes

Soulcalibur Legends

Tomb Raider: Legend

at least someone like Konami can take the Portable from PSP and put it into Metal Gear Solid to make it sometime nice and cool and not boring:
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

Regarding DS games, at least some companies made it cool like:
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Contra: Dual Spirits
Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy
Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers
Lunar: Dragon Song
Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Tenchu: Dark Secret

Thats creative thinking for some of the DS subtitles there, really really like Dust Strikers!

I think the most boring game title in a series (besides sport games) has to be the Bomberman. It uses Land, Story, Super and just plain Bomberman just too damn much. At least it did alright with Act:Zero but that was a shit game anyway!

The best subtitle goes to:
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect

I just can't forget this beautiful subtitle of a game I've never played (cause EA Australia refused to release a GameCube version). Too bad it came out after I got my Year 12 Jacket or this would've been on it instead of Hitokiri Battousai (from Rurouni Kenshin). At least my brother using it though, Future Perfect FTW!
